DYLAN: A SONG CYCLE FOR BARITONE AND HARP

On the 11th of November, we hosted a beautiful concert with Royal Harpist Alis Huws and with Gareth Brynmor John baritone accompaniment. This was a follow up to a concert from one week ago, performed in our very own space at Rutgers Church. The Welsh poet Dylan Thomas died in New York City on 8th November 1953. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of his death, British composer Michael Stimpson composed Dylan, his song cycle for baritone and harp.
